Stick it
This was the first food truck Breaknbred tried and we kept trying more and more so we had a good experience at stick it. The concept behind Stick it is the food that you’re eating is on a stick, hence the name “Stick It.” Stick It has a few different items on the menu and some items that are available on certain days and special occasions. You can find their featured daily items on their website at www.stickitfoodtruck.com. The usual items that are available are the buttermilk fried chicken with four peppercorn gravy, the fish and chips, and the Korean BBQ pork belly lettuce wraps with basmati rice and sesame gastrique. We tried the buttermilk fried chicken and the buttermilk fried fish on a skewer the food was prepared well it had a nice golden brown color so it was coated and fried perfect. Although there was a nice texture and taste to the chicken and the fish we found them both to be on the greasy side. We do understand that these items that are prepared on the trucks and are fresh items right out the grease and served right to the consumer but it was a bit to oily. Other than that the food was pretty good, they also have a desert menu, we tried the funnel cake on a stick, sweet on the outside but the filling of brie didn’t work for me, everyone likes different things, that just wasn’t my cup of tea.
