This chicken and sausage pasta is something good and quick just in case you have to throw something together real fast for your family. The pasta that you use for this is really your own preference whatever kind of pasta can work for this dish. This pasta consists of chunks of chicken breast, some sausage and you can throw in some shrimp to add some seafood flavor to your dish. I cook everything separate starting off the pasta in a pot bringing to a boil until tender while the pasta is cooking, I cut up the chicken breast into small chunks add a little seasoning and cook in a skillet in olive oil. Then I cook the sausage also in a skillet and if you’re using shrimp you can boil, grill, or scampi the shrimp. After all the meat is cooked and you kind of degrease it, strain your noodles and get ready to incorporate your meats and noodles together. For your sauce I use a bit of heavy cream, white cooking wine, some chopped onion, basil, and green bell peppers. Let that cook a little and put your noodles in your sauce and make sure it absorbs very well and then add your meat in and mix it in good so when you take a bite you taste all your ingredients. Since you will be using a good amount of the sauce let it simmer for about 10 more minutes in the sauce so all the flavors can fuse together. Once it’s done and your sauce thickens a bit you can add some parmesan cheese and a little pepper. Make sure you have a nice salad to partner with the pasta and a nice piece of Texas Toast will be nice as well.
