Bernie’s Burger Bus
There are so many burger joint’s in Houston some very mediocre and some that knock the others right out the box. I’ve been to a lot of different burger place but one of the best burgers that Ive had in a long time comes off a burger truck. Bernie’s Burger Bus is very well known not just in Houston but in other cities all over the country. The experience at Bernie’s was great operating out of a school bus the set up and hot food will throw you for a loop.
There are eight featured burgers each one unique and just right for the burger lovers out there, they also have sweet potatoes fries, triple loaded fries, and of course chilli and cheese fries to accompany the burger. Now these burgers are the type that requires a big mouth, you know something you can really sink your teeth in. Consuming “The Bully” wasn’t an easy task, made with two beef patties, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onion roasted tomato, pickles, mayo, mustard, and ketchup. (I told you nice size for a big mouth) You have to eat this burger like a true carnivore when you bite in to it you might lose a few items but that what makes it great remember it’s not a good burger unless it gets a little messy. All the ingredients flow together perfectly and you can taste all the fresh veggies and the patties are seasoned so it doesn’t have that boring taste when you taste the meat on the burger.
At BreaknBred we love flavor so if we can taste seasonings it makes the experience even better. This burger was awesome and the bread didn’t fall all apart on you like most burgers. The chilli and cheese fries were great as well but the burger was definetly the start of the whole meal.
