Mike’s Seafood

I’ve frequented Mike’s Seafood formally known as Fresh Catch for quite some time now and it’s a memorable experience each time. Seafood is always a favorite, but if it’s not prepared properly it can go from an expected thrill to a consumption disaster very quick. One thing that I always look for in a restaurant is the environment, if you don’t feel comfortable somewhere then you eating experience will be tainted. At Mike’s there are TV’s to enjoy sports, a nice open area that doesn’t feel cramped in a crowd, and alcoholic beverages for the parents, it’s a kid friendly place so the children can have a good experience as well.  If crab legs and crawfish are your things, you’re defiantly in for a treat. Offered spicy or mild the legs are exquisite, but the combustible flavor you’re looking for is in the spicy legs. With the option of a few soft potatoes, corn and sausage these crab legs are delectable especially when you dip them in the side of butter, there’s nothing else like fresh favorable seafood. Mike’s also has many other choices on his menu from gumbo, fried fish, popcorn shrimp, po boys, and many other combinations. If you just want to go in for a drink and catch the game they have beer on tap or bottles, and they have a few frozen drinks that you can check out as well. Mikes Seafood is located at 9210 HWY 6 south between Bissonett and Beechnut, if you’re in the area and want some fresh seafood cooked right pass by Mike’s and tell them BreaknBred sent you.
